Stain tones in the palette mix with PLA+Wood fiber for a stained effect. Use as the dark ring slot for aged, ebonized, or colored wood looks. Color can also be added post-print with wood stain or dye.

Staining: for bleached, ebonized or tinted looks, use a stain-palette color in slot 1 or 3. Color post-processing (dye, stain, paint) also works well on wood-fiber PLA surfaces.

Single mesh body, per-triangle color assignment via 3MF colorgroup. Filament colors and prime tower setting are baked into the file.
Technical Notes
Triangle count: keep uploaded STL under ~100k triangles. In your CAD app export at medium mesh quality — fine enough to avoid faceting, coarse enough that grain resolution is visible per-triangle. Too many triangles slows export; too few and the grain looks blocky.
Bambu color match: exported 3MF includes filament colors matching the preview. Open a fresh Bambu project (File → New Project) before importing — extra filament slots accumulate if imported into an existing project.
Ring Shape blends from flat-sawn parallel stripes (0) to circular end-grain rings (1).
Species calibration: 15 presets calibrated against reference veneer photographs.
