The pattern is computed from the two axes perpendicular to the chosen wrap axis, then projected through it — like wrapping paper around the part. Try a different axis if the pattern looks stretched on your uploaded model.

In Bambu Studio: File → New Project first — importing into an existing project accumulates extra filament slots

File → Import — one object appears on the bed, already colored with your AMS slots

Do not rotate or re-orient the object — the pattern is baked to the export orientation and will misalign if the part is moved

If a prime tower appears: Process → Others → Enable prime tower → off

If infill prints in the wrong color: Process → Strength → Sparse infill filament → Extruder 1

Single mesh body, per-triangle color assignment via 3MF colorgroup. Filament colors and prime tower setting are baked into the file.
Technical Notes
Triangle count: keep uploaded STL under ~500k triangles for fast export. The pattern is subdivided automatically so color edges stay crisp — finer patterns (small dots, narrow stripes) create more triangles.
Preview vs print: the 3D preview shows the pattern per-pixel (perfectly sharp). The exported 3MF assigns one color per triangle, so very fine patterns may look slightly blockier when printed — increase triangle density by choosing a larger pattern scale if needed.
Wrap axis: choose the axis that runs through the "depth" of your part. The pattern repeats across the other two axes, wrapping around all faces.
